Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
We leave Fes early in the morning and stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style houses. In Azrou we walk in the cedar forest and meet the Barbary macaques. Lunch is in Midelt, then we continue via Errachidia to Merzouga. After checking in at the desert camp, a camel trek takes you into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset. Traditional Berber dinner, music and overnight in luxury tents.
Day 2Merzouga – Errachidia – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
After breakfast, ride the camels back to Merzouga and begin the return journey. We drive via Errachidia and Midelt, with a lunch or rest stop, and an optional break in Azrou. Passing through Ifrane once more, we arrive in Fes in the late afternoon or evening.
