Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrival in Casablanca
Airport pick-up. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche and the Habous quarter, with a meal at Rick’s Café. Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 2Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
In Rabat, visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Chellah. Continue to Chefchaouen for the night.
Day 3Chefchaouen
Explore the medina and the Ras El Maa waterfall, and walk up to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 4Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the highlights of Meknes: Bab Mansour, Heri es-Souani and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Overnight in Fes.
Day 5Fes
Explore Fes el Bali, Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries and the souks. Overnight in Fes.
Day 6Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga
Stops in Ifrane and Azrou, then on to Merzouga for a sunset camel trek through Erg Chebbi. Overnight in a desert camp with a Berber dinner and music.
Day 7Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Rose Valley
Visit the Todra Gorge, then continue to the Rose Valley, famous for its roses and landscapes. Overnight in the Rose Valley.
Day 8Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
Visit Kasbah Amridil in Skoura, the Atlas Film Studios and Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate, and the UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9Marrakech
Visit Jemaa el-Fnaa, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden, the Saadian Tombs and the souks. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 10Marrakech – Casablanca Airport
Drive to Casablanca (about 3 hours) and transfer to the airport for your departure.
