Day 1: Marrakech to Skoura (Overnight in Skoura)
Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Marrakech, heading into the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains. Cross the scenic Tizi n'Tichka Pass, where panoramic views of the rugged peaks await. Make a stop at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its striking kasbah, featured in films like "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones." Continue your journey to Ouarzazate for a brief visit to the Taourirt Kasbah or the famous Atlas Film Studios if time allows. Finally, arrive in Skoura, known as the "Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs," and explore its picturesque palm groves, including a visit to the well-preserved Kasbah Amridil. Day 2: Skoura to Merzouga (Overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp)
Drive through the Rose Valley: Pass through Kelaat M'Gouna, the heart of the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival and fragrant rose products. Visit Todra Gorge: Explore the stunning Todra Gorge, known for its dramatic red cliffs and the crystal-clear river that runs through the gorge. It’s a great spot for a walk or short hike. Stop in Nkoub for Lunch: A scenic Berber village, Nkoub offers a perfect stop for lunch with its kasbahs and views of the Saghro Mountains.
